The Group
The group was started during a Aol Instant Messenger chat with the founder/leader and some buddies. The name came about from the fact that the members live in America and the founder/leader lives in Australia. This group is dedicated to freelance modeling and rivet counters will only be accepted if they are freelancers. The group has been going for 3 days now and have a Yahoo messenging group.
The members role in the group
The members are the main people in this group that are preserving freelancing and as long as they survive so will their style. Every different freelancer has their own style which makes freelancing great. Every member model a different area of the world beause of personal preferences like some love the Appalachian Mountains and the coal modeling that comes with them. Another loves modern day times and running long intermodal and perishable trains over long distances and at high speeds. Freelancing is a great alternative to prototype modeling and rivet counting.
